After ten years of song writing and the longest game of musical chairs on record, Argus reunited with drummer Adam Mack to record their first-ever full length CD. In 2008, Argus laid down tracks so old even your grandma will swear she can't remember them... but these timeless classics will surely bring you out of your Face-Space-Twitter-induced funk and into new era of toe-tappin' tomfoolery. Stay tuned for the release date... we're expecting a late spring 2009 release.
History
Argus was formed in central Washington in 1998. Songwriter Chris Duren's passive-aggressive indie pop style is blended with rock and folk undertones to provide the versatility Argus needs to adapt to the live music scene. Argus has played shows with bands like Pedro the Lion, Joy Electric, Champion Birdwatchers, Damien Jurado and many more.
Eventually, Argus became a revolving door of drummers and Chris decided to focus on song writing while attending to the less exciting aspects of life like college and work. Argus was revived in 2008 with drummer Adam Mack and guitarist/bassist Jared Mcsharry, and is now back on track with live performances to promote the debut CD release, "Starting Lineup".
